Dear Friends of the ERM -
I am just amazed at how God is blessing the Evansville Rescue Mission. Over the past year or so, we've seen Him do so many wonderful things for this ministry, and perhaps on these pages of our website you'll be able to get a glimpse of a few of those.
Since its finding in 1917, the ERM has stood tall in the community as a beacon of help, hope, and healing for those who have so often been overlooked or forgotten by society. As well, the Mission has provided a sense of security and compassion for thousands who've just needed to know that someone cared for them.
It is my hope that you will join us in our goal of extending the love of Jesus Christ to the many in our community who will walk through our doors in the coming days. We need volunteers to help with a multitude of opportunities of service; we need those who will donate much-needed dollars to support the many ministries of the ERM; we need many who will pray with us and for us each day; and we need our friends to help spread the word about the awesome and exciting ministries the ERM provides for literally of thousands of individuals each and every year. Please accept my personal invitation to be a part of this exciting ministry. To learn specifics for how that can happen, please call our office at 812-421-3800 and ask for Victoria Flaherty (our Volunteer and Community Relations Coordinator). As well, if you'd like to make a financial gift, you may actually do so right on this page by clicking the "Donate" tab.
Thanks again for checking out the ERM website. I look forward to seeing you very soon at one of our ministry centers.
